Description
This Modular Flap is an extension for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and can be mounted both at the front and rear.
This extension should enable the user to quickly change the equipment setup.
Preconfigured modular flaps can be quickly adapted to new situations and changeover times can be minimized. 4 rows with 6 MOLLE channels are available for attaching magazine pockets, for example. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the bottom of the flap. Here, for example, knives, Tourniquet or pistol magazine pockets can be attached.
The attachment to the plate carrier is made by 4 belt straps, which are located at the top on the back.
The straps are simply pulled through the MOLLE loops of the wearer and then looped through the strap at the flap. The straps are fixed to the velcro surface.
The Velcro surface at the bottom of the flap is clipped into the plate pocket and thus provides a firm hold.
The Modular Flap is an innovative fastening system with additional functions. For example, additional material such as a flat IFAK or cards can be carried between the plate carrier and the modular flap. The Modular Flap is for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and also fits on the LHT plate carrier delivered at work.
The materials used correspond to the technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabric, webbing, plastic parts and all haberdashery comply with military standards in terms of infrared values, composition and quality.
